Organizations that work on one or more of the issues relating to FL-PIN's "Progressive Principles" may join FL-PIN providing that they do not use nor advocate violence and are non-partisan and not for profit in nature. (ie: 501(c)3 or 501(c)4 organizations, their subchapters, and smaller groups that haven't yet registered with the IRS but would qualify for those exemptions.)
Since participation is free to individual subscribers, costs to run FL-PIN are paid by member organizations through an annual fee (currently set at 2% of annual budget not to exceed $3,000). Member organizations are expected to promote FL-PIN to their membership, participate in the annual FL-PIN summit and elect an Executive Board to manage and oversee FL-PIN (please see Management/Oversight link below).
Member organizations may use FL-PIN to send action alerts to subscribers. However, member organizations are expected to adhere to the Membership Usage Policy and our Dispute Resolution Policy. FL-PIN may not be used for fundraising or membership drives.
In order for FL-PIN to operate properly, you will need to allow javascript and cookies to operate in your web browser. Please contact us if you have a problem or would like training on how to best utilize FL-PIN.
